Raequel Jones is a dynamic athlete that is entering Grade 10 in the Class of 2029. She plays middle blocker and is proud to represent Team Ontario White this season after previously competing with Durham Rebels Rogue. She is also competing for Anderson CVI, where she continues to develop my skills as both a player and a teammate.
The upcoming season will be her fourth year playing competitive volleyball. Throughout her journey, She has become known as a hardworking, coachable athlete who is committed to improving every day. She enjoys the challenge of competing at a high level and embrace every opportunity to learn from her coaches and teammates. Her goal is to continue developing her game and becoming the best middle blocker she can be.
She is proud of her Guyanese and Canadian heritage, which has shaped her values of hard work, perseverance, and respect. Her family has always encouraged her to pursue her goals and has been a constant source of support throughout her volleyball journey.
Whether it’s driving her to practices and tournaments, cheering from the sidelines, or encouraging her to keep pushing herself, her family has played an important role in helping her grow both as an athlete and as a person. Their belief in her motivates her to continue striving for excellence in everything she does.
Her dream is to continue playing volleyball at the university level, where she can combine her passion for athletics with her education. She is committed to working hard each season to reach that goal and to continue growing as a player, teammate, and leader.
Beyond volleyball, she aspires to become an X-ray Technician. She has a strong interest in healthcare and enjoy the idea of helping others through diagnostic imaging. She looks forward to building a career where she can make a positive impact on people’s lives while continuing to challenge herself both personally and professionally.
