Macy was born on October 21, 2010, in Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada. She is of Romanian ethnicity, stands 5'10" tall, and weighs 140 lbs. Predominantly right-handed, Macy can also hit left-handed, and her primary position is outside hitter.

Volleyball Career

• Early Years: Macy has been involved in volleyball camps since age 8 in Kelowna.
• Club Volleyball:
  • Age 11 (U12): Started playing club volleyball with the Kelowna Volleyball Club.
  • Age 12 (U14): Played up with the U14 team for + Energy Volleyball Club.
  • Age 13 (U14): Continued with the U14 team for + Energy Volleyball Club.
  • Present: Joined the Arsenal Club to expand her opportunities.

Achievements

• Selected for the U14 West Coast camp in August as one of the top 48 U14 athletes in the province.

Academics

Macy is an above-average student with excellent grades. Her favorite subject is Math.

Family Background

Macy's family includes her Mama Dyana and mom Kari, along with her older sister Nevaya and their family dog Oakley. Both of her moms still play volleyball. Dyana played for the first club team in Kelowna created in the 90s, represented Team BC, and was offered college scholarships, which she had to decline due to an unexpected family situation.

Aspirations

Moving forward, Macy is driven to make Team BC and represent her province. She also aspires to attend college in Education, aiming to become an Elementary school teacher while playing volleyball as she works on her degree.
