Lauren began her volleyball journey at the age of 12 with Elevate Volleyball Div 1, competing in the U12 to U14 divisions. She started as an underdog but quickly rose to become the top player on her team. Her talent and determination earned her Player of the Game honors at nearly every tournament. Known for her powerful arm and strong serve, she is a force on the court. Lauren first discovered her love for volleyball while playing at Abbotsford Christian.
Lauren comes from a family with a strong athletic background. Of Congolese heritage, she was adopted at 13 months by Lisa Wichers. A natural athlete, she has been playing basketball since the age of five and continues to excel in both basketball and volleyball. She currently attends Abbotsford Christian, where she showcases her talents in both sports.
Ren aspires to continue her volleyball career at the collegiate level, where she hopes to further develop her skills and compete at a higher level. Her dedication to the sport is matched by her commitment to personal growth both on and off the court. With a strong passion for the game, she dreams of playing in Texas, drawn to the state's competitive volleyball programs.
